Trojan T105 Batteries
Trojan Battery Company is the world leader in deep cycle battery technology. Since 1925, Trojan has been a pioneer in the development of superior deep cycle batteries. Decades of experience, on-going research and dedication go into every deep cycle battery we manufacture.
You can depend on Trojan to deliver reliable, long lasting, continuous power and exceptional value.
Trojan's dominance in deep cycle products is the result of years of R & D investment, continuous product testing and adherence to strict manufacturing procedures. Trojan produce CAST grids with heavy WIRE and FRAME design. To each grid, Trojan applies its specially formulated Alpha Plus paste formulation. It's the optimised paste density of this proprietary formula which provides our products with their superior cycle life.
Another Trojan exclusive is its curing process. Once the grids are pasted, they are placed in specially constructed curing rooms which are temperature and humidity controlled. Then they are slowly cured. This provides Trojan deep cycle plates with the most tenacious active material. Once the plates are cured, they are then hand assembled, sealed and formed.
Each step is completed under rigorous quality control standards to insure greater cycle time and battery life.

Victron Energy Centaur Battery Charger 12/40 (3)
The new Centaur range of battery chargers from Victron Energy have been designed to be a true world-wide product. Universal compliance and input/output specifications are cornerstone characteristics of the new range from the established Dutch manufacturer. Designed to meet the requirements of both CE for Europe and UL for the United States, the Centaur model range features auto-ranging input covering 90-265VAC 50/60Hz input meaning they can be used anywhere in the world.
Crucially, and unlike other products that state universal input, the Centaur range will maintain full output power within the entire specified range. The Centaur model will also work on 90-400VDC input, making it a perfect Charging DC-DC Converter in a Diesel Electric system. Other features include fully automatic three stage charge characteristic that ensures batteries are fully charged every time and three isolated charge outputs for multi battery configurations to suit the majority of typical installations.
The range spans 12V and 24V models from 16A through to 100A. The fact that the same product is suitable for any boat, regardless of the intended market or where the boat will be taken, is a great advantage to the boat builder and the boat owner in equal measure. Conscious of the price sensitivity in this competitive market, a single model range for all markets also means more competitive costs. Without compromising Victron Energy brand qualities this range is comprehensive, competitive and compatible wherever in the world they might be used.
Quality without compromise
Aluminium epoxy powder coated cases with drip shield and stainless steel fixings withstand the rigors of an adverse environment: heat, humidity and salt air. Circuit boards are protected with an acrylic coating for maximum corrosion resistance. Temperature sensors ensure that power components will always operate within specified limits, if needed by automatic reduction of output current under extreme environmental conditions.
Universal 90-265V AC input voltage range and also suitable for DC supply (AC-DC and DC-DC operation)
All models will operate without any adjustment needed over a 90 to 265 Volt input voltage range, whether 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
The chargers also accept a 90-400 V DC supply
Three outputs that each can supply the full output current
Three isolated outputs to simultaneously charge 3 battery banks Each output is capable to supply the full rated current.
Three-stage charging, with temperature compensation
The Centaur charges at bulk rate until the output has reduced to 70% of the rated Amps, at which a 4 hour timer begins. After the timed period the charger switches to float rate. An internal temperature sensor is used to compensate the charge voltage with – 2 mV/ºC (– 1 mV/ºF) per cell. A DIP switch is available to select the optimum charge/float voltages for Flooded Lead-acid, Gel or AGM batteries.
